Re: More Tricks by Youngtricker
another move.
Be dribblin, and square up to your D. Make your dribbling kinda boring, you know, just freestylin whatever. Start to back up from the D. As you are starting to back up, bounce the ball kinda high (about chest-head height) with one hand, right near the D's feet. But, when you bounce it like that, as your moving back, bounce the ball so it goes back too (not spin, just bounce it so it goes backwards). The D realizes the ball is theres for the takin too late. They reach for it as it is coming back to you and you are backing up. Right as they are about to get it, switch directions, so go forward and get the ball, then cross to the right. there still going forwards, and your behind em.
this is really hard to understand, and its ALL about timing.

Re: More Tricks by Youngtricker
and another move....
Dribble the ball behind your back, but do a wrap around. thats the thing you do to go behind your back as your running, to make the ball go out in front of you again. As you're doing the wraparound, when it gets to your back, put your left hand behind your back and hit the ball out to the right. hit it so it lands around the d's feet. You pretended to go behind your back to the right, so the D will take a second to notice the ball. Right as you bounce it near there feet, get the ball with your right hand and cross to the left.

Re: More Tricks by Youngtricker
heres another.
Put the ball on the ground with your right hand. Now bend down and put your right hand on top of the ball. Roll the ball to the left with your right hand, and as you do that, lunge to the left with your feet. As the ball is rolling, and you lunged out to the left as well, put your right hand down, so your fingers/knuckles are touching the ground, and your elbow is facing right. The ball should roll right into your hand. As it gets there, you can pick it up and go around your back, thru your legs, spin, whatever.

Re: More Tricks by Youngtricker
This is tricky. this is the kind of move where a video would help out a lot
1)Take the ball in your right hand, and have your left foot in front.
2)Start dribbling with your right hand.
3) Jump and do a 180 (half a spin in the air). to do this, you jump and turn with your left shoulder going back first. Take off off of your left foot, land on your right, then put your left down so your back is facing the D. The jump doesn't have to be high.
4) As you land, bounce the ball straight back between your legs. Don't bounce it far tho.
5) After the ball bounces, immediately keep on turning a lil bit and catch the ball in the air with your left hand. (the ball bounced once when you did it thru your legs, and b4 it lands, you take it with your left).
6) With the ball in your left hand now, and your body is facing off to the right of the D, step out a lil bit with your right foot so your legs are about shoulder with apart, and as you step, wrap the ball around your body (so your left arm crosses your body) and bounce it behind your back from right to left.
Why it works: As you bounce the ball between your legs so it goes in front of the D, the D will come forward to try and take it. As he's coming forward, you pull the ball back and then wrap it around your body to go past him (step no. 6).
Remember: don't start too close to the D for this move.
You guys get it?
