using fakes is to be in some important time like me use fakes in time that i'm sure defense will jump (point forward) so little dribble example :i received ball in high post and shoot and got it and second time the same so the third time i'm sure he won't let me jump and shoot freely so i fake the ball up as i'm going to jump i found him at the air so i pass and do it lay up and in low post when u receive with ur back to defence and fake with ur body

If the d ever overplays you to a side anywhere on the court attack it, after they find out you can go that way they'll probably try n make you shoot then pump faking and jab step will helpy really effectively.

wat means here body is the best to fake with how if u recived the ball with ur back to the defence and he overplay on u k there is 2 way either to face him or to play with ur body if u face him u can pass or shoot or dribble but if wth body liek u keep ur left leg at ground and move ur right leg wider at u pretend u will enetr form right side he auto will cloce the right side and this time a drible and over him with ur left leg that wat mean body fake and if u see iverson crossover all depend on his shoulder
