not too high but not too low. if it goes too high then the d might turn back to face u and c the ball drop down. if its too low then the d mite c it. about a meter and half to 2 and half meters is just rite. if u think the d mite turn back and see the ball before the ball comes back down then hit it back up before the d turns around
