Default A new move

I just thought of this one and tried it out. It almost worked on my first attempt, so I assume, with practice you guys can get it. Bear with me on the explanation.

1) Dribble toward your defender with the ball in your right hand.

2) Step forward with your right foot, and dribble, back to front through your legs, to your left hand.

3) As you do the through the legs dribble, begin to turn in the direction so that your right shoulder goes toward the D (in other words, do a left spin).

So far, the ball is in your left hand, and you are beginning a normal left spin.

4) As your back is facing the defender, take the ball, and bounce it on your right side, off to the right a little bit. That is done by simply crossing your arm across your body and "throwing" the ball.

Now, you don't have control of the ball anymore because it is off to your right...

5) Instead of completing the spin, just touch the left leg down on the floor to your left(you were pivoting on your right foot, so your left was off the ground) and spin the opposite direction (like the second half of a right spin, but pivoting on your right leg).

Now...The ball is on your left. The fake spin was fast. The ball is in the air from the bounce.

6) With your right, cup the ball, and swing it to your right like the start of a hurricane, and pretend you are going that way.

7) Instead, take it behind your back or cross it in front of you, and go left.

Remember: The fake spin is very fast, not very big. It is just to get the defender going with you, away from the ball. He shouldn't even really notice you don't have the ball until it is too late for him. The behind the back combo thing is just an added fake to get your defender reeling backwards/sideways.

Does that make sense? Anything not clear? Just post.

Alright. Step 5 is just this:

Stand feet shoulder width apart. Keep the right leg down (pivot leg) and pick up your left leg. Spin left, and when your back faces your (original) front, touch down the left leg. Now, basically go in "rewind" and come back to where you started (you spin back, same pivot leg, in the opposite direction).

Clearer?

Woo! I just got it working last game. It was tough for me to come back and catch/cup it in my right hand (step 6) so instead of catching it, I just put it behind my back with my left hand and got them going left, then did a right spin. Worked pretty well for me.
