When you practice, practice with as close to perfect form as you can, and shoot a lot of reps. Repitition builds the muscle memory to keep a consistent shot.

Its doesn't really matter what your shooting style is as long as you got the basics down............just make sure when you shoot, your shooting arm goes straight and u flick ur wrist then u hold ur arm up the until the ball hits the rim

Try to shoot in front of a mirror. Trust me, this may sound simple but it will correct your form!

Keep imaging you're shooting wherever you are. This trains your mind so that it becomes more consitent and is able to link the shot to your memory.

I've read a psychology book and it says there that your retain 90 % of something you do when you explain what you are doing as you are doing it.

I practice form shooting from up close (about 2 feet away) and I say out loud (or whisper when I'm shooting in my high school gym during recess) all the things I want to make sure I do. I'm building my shot after Better shooting 2 and it's working great. You can get it if your become a master on http://streetballebooks.co.nr/ . I could help you get stuff to post there (that's one of the conditions of becoming a master there).

Watch the video and make a list of steps to building your form (like :1. Feet shoulder-with apart 2. Toes pointing to the target... and so on) and repeat these steps out loud. It really helped me get the form down. It's not going to happen over night, however. Practice every day. Perfect practice makes perfect.
