Default Fooling The D

You know for lots of moves, you throw the ball into the air, and run one way with the D following you, then go back and get the ball? How do you pull that off? This is something I just can't seem to get.

well.....its pretty simple actually it works really well against ppl that are really focused on sticking on u cuz they wont look up when u throw it up if it doesnt seem to work try putting the ball further behind the d's head, also when u run when the ball is in the air just do a quick sprint to the left or right, the d will think you made a quick pass to a teammate or somethin, if that doesnt work, u could try and cover the d's eyes or somethin like kit kats road runner (if u havent heard of it go to www.streetballing.pl and download dime the movement)

ok, to do this stuff, you have to make sure that the ball and your hands are out of his line of vision (to the side of it, above it, whatever). To practice, you can do a couple things. Find a car where the window is about your head height, and do the move on it using the window as a mirror. if you can't see the ball and where its going, then neither will the D. It teaches you where to put the ball. you can do other things like that.

i like those kinds of moves, and i highly recommend practicing em so you have just in case you ever wanna fool around.

Could you elaborate on some of the variations? I find a thrill in these moves.

sure. an easy one is take the ball in both hands and start to lunge like your driving left. Put the ball to the left (on the D's right side of his head) mainly with your right hand (so your arm is across your body). As the ball is just above his shoulder, maybe a little behind his head, flick your wrist so the ball goes up and over his head to the right. keep on running to the left. thats a basic move.

Do you do it all together, in one motion? So you take the ball with two hands, put it on the right side of his head, throw it in the air, and run to the left. All in one motion?

yeah all in one motion. its kinda jerky with the flicking of the wrist and everything, but its pretty much one motion.

yea it should be called made you look or somethin like that......well here are some variations of the move....
1. Throw the ball really high in the air behind the d's head and just start walking right or left, the d will think u passed it to someone and turn around (usually)
2. Throw the ball in the air behind the d's head and sprint really fast to the left or right and come back to get the ball, the d will have thought u tried pulling an around the back or somethin
3. Do a clockwise 360 (if u have the ball in ur right hand) and when you come to finishing the 360 lift ur arm up and put the ball behind the d's head then toss the ball up a lil bit and do a quick sprint to the left or right
4. (this move is done by tru baller alot) what you do is u really quickly throw the ball in the air and then do a clockwise 360 to the left (counter clockwise if ur going to the right) then the d will usually follow you thinking u still have the ball
5. (sort of a variation of kit kats road runner) u get the ball to ur left hand then throw it up with ur right hand and start walkin left or right, the d usually turns around

All of these kinds of tricks only work if the D is focused on sticking on u and dont look up cause if they do they'll just catch the ball and ull look like a fool
