i guess he was playing streetball cuz he playing on the "streets" lol..for me if u ever go and play outside with ppl like 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 , etc. then thats considered streetball in a way, or u could just go by every1 else rules and think that streetball is palming, traveling ,tricks, flash and embarressment( which is fun )...

but honestly i think "basketball" is when you play organised ball and "streetball" is when u have a pickup game, with no ref and just have fun with rules not as strict as the nba's..me personally i would choose nba cuz im not really into sum1 like hot sauce doing a trick and throwing the ball into the crowd, but i guess thats me, i was just born and raised to play normal ball. but whichever one u pick to play, both really need difrent skills, nba is all around while streetball is handles, hops and impossible looking tricks. but both are still the best games in the world 4 me lol.

and this is just a theory- i think they call basketball what it is because u have to put the ball in the basket...and they call streetball what it is because your main objective isnt to put the ball in the basket, its to put on a good show and show off yor skills individually ( unless your hooking up for the alley), therefore "street"ball and not basketball. peace.

agree...on my opinion, the only difference between streetball and basketball is no such violations like palming travelling double dribble in streetball. if i play 1 on 1 with basketball rules, i consider that is playing basketball. and same here, i'm raised to play normal basketball, i don't really have that sick handles and killa crossovers, i focus more on fundamentals.
