i know that real, original nba jerseys have the little nba logo on the left peck.. but i guess that could also be faked. the ultimate proof, imo, is the nba tag that the jersey has (on the inside or outside, depends) for example: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...CLZZZZZZZ_.jpg - check out the tag

This is my take on this issue... If you want to make sure you are getting a REAL jersey, BUY from nba.com or a store you KNOW you can trust. That being said... If you don't mind a jersey that LOOKS real, but may or may not be real, go to ebay or something like that. You can get a rather nice looking knock off for cheap (if you don't have nearly 200 bux laying around). For me... I normally want to buy from NBA.com, but I have bought a few from ebay that are "real enough" for me in a pinch. For instance... I live in Orlando and the Magic had made the playoffs, so I purchased an "authentic" Dwight Howard jersey from ebay. Honestly, it LOOKS completely real, but I know at that price and given the situation, it's NO WAY real. (If it is, I got an amazing deal.) One last note... If we're talking about "my favorite player", I'm going to NBA.com or the actual store, which I LOVE.
