Default does this make sense to you?

I think this is the stupidest thing in the world. The other day i was going to buy new shoes. I found some Wade Converses. I asked the people if they had them in size 14. They never. I chose out 4 other pairs, none of them were in size 14. I asked them to bring out ALL the basketball shoes they had in the store in size 14 and they brought out the 2 cheapest pairs in the store for like 20 bucks each. This happened to me at 5 different shops that day until i finally found some Wade Converses on the web and had to pay shipping and handling and all that crap. This does not make any sense to me because if they are basketball shoes, usually tall people play basketball, and the average size for people that play basketball as a profession is size 15-16. I also talked to a salesman and he said that all the new shoes coming out are coming out in smaller sizes than 13.

Post Re: does this make sense to you?

most people who are my age (adult) that play basketball are usually around size nine through fifteen. i can always find them at any store around here. most stores go up to size fifteen here. after that, they become harder to find nice shoes. i'm guessing you live in an area that isn't heavily populated? if that's the case, i feel you. i went out to a smaller area (people told me shoes were a good amount cheaper then they were here), & it's hard to even find a size eleven (a basic size basically everywhere, in a decent sized city, aka two-hundred thousand plus people) shoe.

There's probably more people who don't play ball that wear basketball kicks than people who play.
