what's good ya'll?

i'm new to your forum, so here is a small intro of who i am...

i work for and1 in europe and basicly can help you guys out with any questions about the brand. i'll start off with a few pics of some upcoming and1 shoes. i already made a few posts in the www.and1.ch forum, but unfourtunately was not able to reach the audiance i wanted to.

the first shoe is the mystique mid, taken from and1.ch "the first shoe is called the mystique mid. you will see it all over the nba, it comes with a new technology called "trinity pro". trinity pro is basicly a tech. which has been developed for ballers and only ballers. it exists of 5 seperate layers which combined provide ballers with the best support and cushioning!

impact protection, shock absorption, stability, torsional control, energy return and durability is what and1 will proide ballers with in this high tech basketball shoe. "

this shoe will come out as a GR (general release) in the following colors:
white/navy/carolina
white/red/black
white/black/gold
white/royal/red

and will also drop as a signature shoe for the following nba players:
jason williams, white/black/red
stephon marbury, black(black/orange
skip, white/purple/silver

this shoe will hit the streets 1/15/06 and 2/15/06.

the shoe i posted is the skip sig shoe

this is the lockdown:

taken from www.and1.ch :

"the next kick on the list is the lockdown mid. the lockdown is concidered a team shoe, made for players to use on the day to day play.

the lockdown's upper is leather and provides ultimate fit and durability without extra weight. the tpa side panels also provide an increased support to the side.

the bottom is made out of a double lasted compression molded eva midsole. and also has an internal midfoot shank which provides torsional rigidity."

"...i'm not sure if you remember the urprise, well the uprise was an $85 shoe and and1 was able to get that sole on this shoe without jacking up the price. the msrp is $70.

the lockdown is more like a showcase type of shoe..."

I like the mystique except the little "handle" on the back of the shoes that we can see on the left picture you posted...

yep, i really don't like the handle either. the shoe is based on the porsche philosophy "FFF"

the shoe is cut to fit a foot, therefore the handle is used for gripping in order to slip into the shoe.

i just took a look at the q2-06 samples (delivery 4/15 5/15) and the lockdown will come back as a low, the mystique in white/white/red and white/white/royal. the whole shoe is white exept for the outine of the leather (silver on the skip shoe). there is this one shoe which looks like it has a web on the side --->>> fire. i'll post some pics within the next few days

Do you know anything specific about this? Is it just a combination of other cushioning systems (carbon fibre plates, EVA, gas units etc.), or have they genuinely come up with something new?

in a way pretty authentic, here are the five layers

1) Mad Game insole (durable yet resilient, cupped rear for aditional support)
2) EVA DUOlite Foam Midsole (Duolite Shock absorbs impact, Duolite Thrust provides responsive elasticity)
3) Equalite Plate (commands stability)
4) Duraspring Foam Cradle (biomechanically tuned PU for enhanced stability)
5) High abrasion rubber outsole (indoor/outdoor sole)

i don't have a scanner so i had to take a picture of the catalog.

yes, they are US dates. they are also intl release dates.

by the way... they are also bringing the lockdown back as a low!!! fire!

i took a look at the apparel and they got this one jersey/short set that is made out of some spaced out material that looks like thin chrome threads... picture a chrome plated record (the groove).. i'll also post some pics in a bit

i don't think i can get my hands on any more of the q1-06 samples but i will take some photos of the catalog.

i know that i'm new in here but that "rookie" status is killing me... can you get rid of that or do i really have to post 300 times to get my rankings up....??
