I got it the first time easy, but that's not the important part, and if you did that little experiment and walked of thinking 'yeah, i counted em right, so what?' then you have missed the point.
It's funny how i didn't even notice that.....
I think the underlying message is the most important part of the whole thing. IMO it evokes the idea that if something is on your mind, like bugging you or your paying close attention to, it effects your life and will cause you to miss other things. In this context i think that means if you pay close attention to one thing while driving(like getting to work on time for example) you may be so focused on that, you will neglect cyclists on the road.
