Therefore, KG deserves the MVP more than Kobe if you think team stats means everything. Kobe also doesnt make his teammates better. If their stats are better it just means that lakers players are maturing. You cant really associate the success of lakers player to Kobe Bryant. he only averages something like 5 ast when Lebron is almost at 8. Ben Wallace isnt the same since he left Detroit so of course his stats are gonna be worse now. Are you gonna say Steve Nash makes his teammates worse because Shaq stats are lower than when he was with Lakers? Are you also gonna say Shaq was better in the Lakers because of Kobe?? Odom was already good when he came to L.A. You cant say he is good because of Kobe. Lebron is more valuable to his team because he will pass the ball when he has an off night. Kobe would keep shooting even if he is 7-25 FG. Cavaliers were 0-7 without Lebron and are 45-30 with him.

Enough said, Lebron deserves the MVP!!!!
Both Wallace and Szczerbiak stats have gotten worse since coming to the CAVS THIS YEAR!! Thats means something if you are gonna say that he make his teammates worse! On the CAVS Lebron is basically the PG since we handles the ball 85% of the time! When in LA Kobe only handle the ball 60% of the time.

If the CAVS were in the western conference then they wouldn't even make the PLAYOFFS!!! The Celtics only play 29 games against western teams, while the lakers played only 29 against eastern teams which means that if the Celtics were in the Western and the Lakers were in the eastern then the Lakers would have a better record then the Celtics. Just compare Kobe's stats to KG's!!!! KG has two other highly experienced allstars on his team! All kOBE HAD BEFORE Gasol was Fisher, WHO ISNT EVEN AN ALLSTAR.

I would understand if you thought CP3 should deserve MVP not KG or Lebron.
This is KB24's year so just give up the SH!T~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although i hate to say it i tihnk Kobe will get it over KG.
abdcc there aint much point of startin an arguement because Lakersfan7 is right when he said "This is KB24's year so just give up the SH!T~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

But id rather see Kobe guys theyre notor KG get the award rather than CP3 or Lebron just because looking at these guys theyre not at the top in theyre career yet. im not hatin but these guys could learn some more and be some of the greatests ever, but KG and Kobe will be leaving soon, unforetunatly and as much as i hate to say it Kobe has worked his ass off and he needs it.

Wow dude!! are you serious when you said that?? Its the NBa my friend. its not a place where you say you get it this year and ill get it the next one. thats not the way it works man. kobe and KG are not the only superstars who needs it. Jason kidd never had one, so should we give it to kobe bryant this year, Kg the next one and jason Kidd the year after because he is about to retire? Its the MVP award, not the "Im old so can i have the MVP this year"
award.

Of course Wallace and Szcerbiak are gonna have stats lower than before. Wallace sucked on offense and started to be lazy on defense... acouple of rebounds and points less is not a big difference. And Szcerbiak was an important player for seattle but he is only a role player for Cleveland. of course his stats are gonna be lower. When you say lebron handles the ball 85% of the time, that just proves how much more valuable he is to his team (MVP). He does it all. And kobe have almost as much turnovers as Lebron even if Lebron has 2 more assists per game and even if Lebron has the ball way more often. Cleveland wouldnt make it to the playoffs in the western conference but bryant did and thats because Kobe has a better team. You cant blame lebron for being on a sucky team neither you can congratulate Kobe for having good and better players around him. I bet you if Kobe would be on Cleveland, he wouldnt make it to the playoffs in the west either. As i said, if you wanna use the team argument you should know that lakers were 20-10 against east teams this season when the celtcis were 24-5 against west and finished with best record. Celtics had better stats against west teams than lakers against east teams. That means If Celtcis were in West, they would still win the majority of their games and finish 1st in the league. So KG is more of a MVP than Kobe. And when you said Kobe only had Fisher before. I hope you were joking man. Did you already forgot Bynum and Lamar Odom??? They were really good players for the Lakers. I cant believe you simply ignored them and said the only good player on Lakers behind Kobe is Fisher. WOW!!

Manu Ginobli was deserving to be the 6th man of the year. His averages as a 6th man for the spurs were very good.

OK, I got at least one right now, Turkoglu is the most improved player of 2007-2008.

Manu, no doubt, he should even be in the all star game.

Prediction:
MVP: CP3
Most improved: Hedo Turkoglu (then Aldridge and Alston)
Manager: Ed Stefanski (just look at the Sixers)
