I want to touch the backboard after finishing VJB plyo, bodyweight phase 2 or maibe 3. So i was wondering how high is the usual bball backboard so i could calculate how many inches i need????

Are you sure your vert is 26 inches because with that vert you should be able to easily touch the backboard. Im 1 inch taller than you and i can touch the backboard without trying when my standing vertical is 30 inches...

Re: Backboard?
theres different heights of backboards, are you talking about the ovalish white ones , or the glass boxed ones? i can touch backboard from standing easily, probably get half my hand on it max standing.

Not sure. Some backboards are lower - look like 9ft high or maybe lower. Others look closer to 9ft 6'. I think it just depends on the design.

Re: Backboard?
All depends, for some regulation ones the backboard is just enough to support the thing that attaches the rim to the backboard, while some are like 3/4 of a foot off the rim.
