1. Lebron James
2. Chris Paul
3. Tracy McGrady
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Kevin Garnett
What?
i dont understand u
Lebron gets easy assists just by passing and the other guy making a jumpshot
he has the ball every possession(or almsot every possession)
and kobe may not get as much assists because there actually is a PG in the lakers and lakers run on a triangle offense
and kobe makes great assists
kobe might not get as much rebounds because they HAVE 3 GREAT REBOUNDERS- lamar, Pau, and andrew bynum when he comes bak
so Kobe may not have as much good stats as lebron
and..
CELTICS have 3 ALL STARS. i think they should be getting those scores
Lakers are still the 3rd best team in the league
and why do u think lebron should be mvp if they're 4th in the EAST which is like 10th in the nba

Kobe has played in NBA already 10 years and LeBron just 4. I think Lebron is the best player in league. He is a master of game.

Yeah but lebron finds the open man thats why he gets more assists. Kobe will shoot a fadeaway with 2 players on him. LOL. Also when you say Kobe doesnt get as many rebounds because of the rebounders on his team, you should know that Cleveland was the best rebounding team last year and they are still one of the best this year. That means they have better rebounders than lakers. But still Lebron manages to get 8 rebounds a game even if they have players like Varejao, ilgauskas and Ben Wallace. And also Lebron has more points per game. he shoots a better FG% than Kobe. And even if the lakers are a better team, that doesnt mean a lot. we are talking about MVP and not who is the better team so individual stats matters more than team stats. And Lakers are not the 3rd best team in the league. I would take Boston, san Antonio, Detroit and Hornets over them. Maybe even the rockets.

Kobe hands down.
LeBron can't even compare to Kobe.
Kobe has the rings, the miles, LeBron is just a kid.

LeBron is good, no doubt about that, but the greatest right now is Kobe. The man with the hunger.

I mean obviously we all know who really really really deserves the MVP, but on second thought, yeah well maybe Kobe.

lebron doesnt find the open man.
he rarely finds the open man in the paint.
LAKERS average 44.1 rebounds
Cavaliers average 44.3 rebounds
i dont think thats a huge difference
and lebron average 6.3 DEFENSIVE reb
and 1.7 Offensive rebs
but kobe isnt much better than that so

and lakers being a better team matters alot
and if stats DO matter in being the MVP why hasnt kobe won mvp in the last few years.
Btw kobe has never won mvp
i think he deserves on this year
(OFFTOPIC: YESSSSS LAKERS BEAT JAZZ BY 10 POINTS AT THEIR HOME COURT. btw JAZZ has the best home court record. i think its like 23-4.
Lakers are back #1 in the west)

Basketball is not a game of stats. Period.

well its the good old kobe vs lebron argument. it never ends. go watch a kobe video or lebron video and read the comments. there will always be the same argument. its kinda pointless arguing about it coz no1 is gonna agree. kobe has been in the league way longer than lebron. kobe runs a different offence and has better team mates so hes pulling up lower stats, but overall i think kobe is better. but they play different styles of play, kobe is more on skill, and lebron uses his athletic ability. imo lebron will be a better player by the time he is kobes age. he said it himself, hes at a point where he just needs to keep polishing his game, keep picking up little tips, and just working to perfection.
