Default Jason Williams the point god...

Really tore it up tonight...

2 of 7 shooting, 1 of 4 from 3 point range, 5 points, 1 turnover, ZERO assists, ZERO rebounds.... all style, no substance.

He is now the 3rd best PG on his team. That's not including D-Wade playing PG.

Marcus Banks:
7 of 11, 3 of 6 from 3, 21 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 turnovers.

Chris Quinn:
3 of 6, 2 of 5 from 3, 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turnover in 12 minutes.

Kids, chose your idols wisely.

ya i mean I like j-will back in his prime when he actually made his shots but I was watching the game against the lakers (I think) and the heat have a 5 on 1. Jason Williams has the ball and takes a 3 misses and the ball goes out of bounds. About 2 possessions later another breakaway and it's a 4 on 1. jason williams pulls up to take a jumper AGAIN. He misses but at least this time the heat got the put back.

I agree. Back in the day, in his prime, he was flashy and hit some of those shots. He's NEVER been a big time point. I mean, if you're a REAL point guard, you aren't even going to consider a pull up 3 with a fast break like that. Good call Dan.

No, not in particular. I know he likes him, that his prerogative. Can't expect the guy to get better at age 32, but he never was a steady point guard, and never played defense. Just flashy. Believe me, I used to love watching some of his passes, and when he stops, pops, and actually makes those 3's, the crowd goes wild. I'm just saying that he isn't someone to model your game after. Maybe your passing, but not your game.

Let me clear this once and for all.

Do any of you think Michael Jordan sucks or is in any way not one of the greatest ball players?

Obviously not. Nor do I. But I guarantee you if you pit Michael Jordan against anybody in the NBA, just ANYBODY today, we all know who will win. And that person would not be MJ.
But still people say he is the greatest. Obviously no one is just judging him by what he is today, but what he has done or accomplished.
Just the same with J-Will.
I'm not saying he is the best whatever right now, I don't deny that he is playing lousy nowadays. But why I like J-Will is not because of what he is TODAY, but what he HAS done. Yea, you can say I'm living in the past.

From what I've seen, no one, NO ONE ever, has showed the sort of ballhandling and passing skills that this whiteboy has. No one.
If you had to make a career mixtape of all point guards, no one can stand a chance to what J-Will has done. Im serious. Yea I like the flashy stuff. I don't care if he puts up lousy numbers. I just want to see things that no one else can do with a basketball.

J-Will's style, when he was in Sacramento, and to some extent Memphis has to be the most dazzling ever. No one in the NBA has done moves like he has. No one else has taken so many deeeep 3s and that dribbling wizardry that he has. Even now I can say this, J-Will's ballhandling still is the greatest.

Miami sucks for him. He lost his character. And that sucks. I;m just waiting till he gets traded to another team, which really needs his sort of playing style. I don't expect championships from J-Will. All I want is the White Chocolate. Stuff you never seen before. Stuff that makes you go, oh shit how the hell did he do that.
