Obviously not. Nor do I. But I guarantee you if you pit Michael Jordan against anybody in the NBA, just ANYBODY today, we all know who will win. And that person would not be MJ.
But still people say he is the greatest. Obviously no one is just judging him by what he is today, but what he has done or accomplished.
Just the same with J-Will.
I'm not saying he is the best whatever right now, I don't deny that he is playing lousy nowadays. But why I like J-Will is not because of what he is TODAY, but what he HAS done. Yea, you can say I'm living in the past.
From what I've seen, no one, NO ONE ever, has showed the sort of ballhandling and passing skills that this whiteboy has. No one.
If you had to make a career mixtape of all point guards, no one can stand a chance to what J-Will has done. Im serious. Yea I like the flashy stuff. I don't care if he puts up lousy numbers. I just want to see things that no one else can do with a basketball.
J-Will's style, when he was in Sacramento, and to some extent Memphis has to be the most dazzling ever. No one in the NBA has done moves like he has. No one else has taken so many deeeep 3s and that dribbling wizardry that he has. Even now I can say this, J-Will's ballhandling still is the greatest.
Miami sucks for him. He lost his character. And that sucks. I;m just waiting till he gets traded to another team, which really needs his sort of playing style. I don't expect championships from J-Will. All I want is the White Chocolate. Stuff you never seen before. Stuff that makes you go, oh shit how the hell did he do that.

Lol there is alot of things that you said that doesnt make sense . First you said if we take Jordan and put him against anybody in the NBA today he wouldnt win. Well Of course he is 45 years old!! i dont think there is a 45 years old in the world that could win against a NBA player. So your comparison is wrong. jason Williams is 32. If you would put MJ at 32, trust me that he would beat most of todays NBA players. Also, Jason williams doesnt have the best ball handling. he may have the craziest passes but he is not as good as Iverson in ball handling. Even Steve francis and Baron Davis are better.

You missed my point..
EVen Jordan in 2003 could be beat by a lot of today's NBA players.
Basically I'm just sayin that I'm not idolizing him for his current game, it's for what he's done before.
And the ballhandling bit, it's just my opinion, but I feel (personallY) AI does NOT have style. Yea sure he crosses over and al that, but there's no style in it. His ballhandling is very unrefined, just IMO. J-Will has the most stylish ballhandling ever. And his crossovers are just amazing. And his passes, once again, best. EVER.

You are absolutely, 100% wrong about Jordan. That was an extremely bad comparison. Jordan had 3 championships in a row, when his father was murdered, he retired for 18 months, came back, AND WON 3 IN A ROW AGAIN! You're insane to say something like that. The Bulls won 72 games in one season! Their teams were not deep, but they had a good core. I'd be willing to bet that even today at age 45 and retired for so many years that Jordan has more game in him than half of the NBA players right now. Why would you bother choosing "style" over substance? And to say J-Will launched deeper 3's than anybody else, SO WHAT. How many of those went in? Pistol Pete was a better ball hander/shooter/scorer than J-Will ever was, is, or will be.

Re: Jason Williams the point god...
In my opinion, Francis has the sickest ballhandling and crossovers and he's definitely more flashy than Jwill. Sometimes I think Steve Nash and Jwill have pretty similar style (you can say it's a bad comparison, but whatever). They both have sick passes, great visions and pullup threes, although Nash is definitely a future hall of famer and Williams is not. The reason is because Nash makes his teammates a lot better while he's flashy. Just before Nash came to the Suns, the Suns suck with Marbury. And what did Nash do to the Suns? They became one of the best teams in the competitive west. On the other hand, Jwill did not make his teammates better while he's flashy. Yea he has sick passes and all, I remember the coach of the Kings took him out of the game when it's a tied game in the fourth quarter because he's style would lead to turnovers.

Yeah man, I live in Sacramento, been to many games, and worked for the Kings in the past. Williams was always pulled in the 4th, mainly because he couldn't defend ANYBODY, not just the bonehead turnovers. I agree on the Nash point, he can't defend either, but he isn't pulling up for 3's from WAY out for no apparent reason. He makes his 3's, and makes his teammates better. Good point. He has style, AND substance. Back to back MVP's prove that. The best point guards ever: Bob Cousy, Nate Archibald, MAGIC JOHNSON, John Stockton, Steve Nash. Chris Paul and Deron Williams are on the rise at the moment. Anyone can put together a good looking mixtape, watch a whole game, look at the defense and turnovers....

J-Will, better than anyone on this site, that's not the discussion, STAY ON THE TOPIC. Haha, accept that he is awesome? Come on, tonight Chris Quinn and Marcus Banks both scored 20, J-Will 10. I'll accept that he had potential that he never reached, how about that. No, he's not awesome. He's a disappointment because he had potential, and never even came close to reaching it. He has always been flashy, had POOR shot selection, never played defense, and has always been turnover prone. Not someone I would suggest anyone pattern their game after, and especially not idolize. In Baseball a great player is called a 5 tool player. J-Will is a ONE tool player.

I'm not talking about IS. You can't even compare J-Will to Quinn, Quinn hasn't done anything he can be proud of as yet.
I don't give a fuck about defense. I don't give a fuck about whatever you said. Maybe in your opinion J-Will sucks. I respect that. That's cos you expect different things from an NBA player. I like players who are different and have some sort of originality. Many people like Bruce Bowen, but personally I think he sucks. Many people like Tim Duncan, but IMO, he is a boring player. That's all. It's just a matter of opinion. For me basketball is a game of style. And so I idolize the player who IMO has the best style. That's all.
And you say you lived in Sactown, pretty much every Sac game I've watched in which J-Will played is a game where I'd go "damn.... how the heck did he do that"
His dribbling was really amazing. Those games were games in which you want to see him get the ball to do something crazy.
I like the flash in the game.
and "has always been turnover prone" that's just a load of unbelievable bullshit. Go get your facts right. I agree in his beginning 1-2 years he made turnovers, but since then, he always been in the top 10 for assists per turnover (if i remember correctly he was #3 in the league). And right now he's #8 i think. J-Will has stopped turning the ball over long back.
You can't tell anyone who to or not to idolize man.. IMO, once again, just IMO, and I HAVE seen loads and loads and loads of Steve Francis and AI's and so many other PGs vids for so many years now, and IMO once again, J-Will's ballhandling is really the greatest.

Re: Jason Williams the point god...
Stats are more important than style. If you want style I guess you should watch streetball, not the NBA.
