How to play against someone who locks on u

I have been playing my friend for over a year now. I just cannot seem to beat him, he knows all my moves and what I like to do. He has lock down d on me. I trained hard but lost again today several times. How do u shake that?

Simple, learn new moves. Look around the forms possibly the streetball moves section they have plenty of moves and how to do them with videos. I suggest you switch it up if you usually run and pull up for a shot run stop then do a big pump fake he will go flying. Stuff like that, good luck.

what you mean how you shake that? thats like me saying yeah i played againts carter but he knows my moves and beat me all the games... hmmmm i wonder whyyyy? CUZ HES BETTTER!

Normal really. If your friend plays against you so much of course he would know your moves. All I can tell you is train your explosiveness more, be more unpredictable.

work on your jumpshot....

i couldnt get past this one guy whos was the same height as me, so i practiced my jumper and that opened up so much options for me...if u cant get past him, shoot over him. worked for me but it might not work for everybody.

just become quicker, usually at our age the more athletic person wins most of the time.

or try looking for his weak spots, does he move faster when he goes to his right? left? figure out his weakness, or like i said b4, just shoot jumpers in his face...

Hm. Yeah. Work on your jumper. When you have a respectable jumper, people will tend to guard you more tight. When they start going for fakes, drive.

You know his moves too. Get bigger and outmuscle him. Knock him around. Punish him so that he doesn't want anything to do with you in the post. Once you wear him down you will start to use your other moves on him.

Train harder than he does.

if you cant figure a way to get past him just run pass him if he blocks ur passage behind the back the other way try direction moves you know the basics. Oh and i have a question when you backking someone up are you allowed to push em? thats wierd i thought it was a no contact sport

use two back dribbles and cross over then do the same but cross over twice and keep changing moves every single time or just shoot 3 I won versus my friend 21 -0 I just made 7 3 pointers in a row
