help with psat

No, that's not what I'm saying. In order to do well on the test, you need to get points. To get points, you need to get questions right. If you get questions wrong, you don't get awarded points but you lose some. If you don't answer any questions, you don't lose anything, but you don't gain anything either. This is how my teacher explained it to me.

I gotta take the psat too. The only thing I can suggest is to get a parent or somebody to help you take the practice version from the booklet you got. Have them keep time, not actually help you when you take the test.

i mean cause my brother took the psat and I thought he would breeze right through it considering he was taking AP classes and everything but then he did terrible on them.

He told me that you need a good vocabulary to do well on the test.

And when you guess then you get .25 points off and if you leave it blank then you get no points off.

ya I live in Hawaii in the east side, hawaii kai. Where abouts are you at??

anyways my dad told me that if I score pretty high on the PSAT then I could get fly-ins to the schools which is a big deal for me because I'm on an island and can't just drive to some campus. But if not then the SAT is much more significance than the psat

anyway, my psat test this year means nothing to me, i'm in 10th grade, scholoarships only look at psat scores from junior year, so it's just a pratice for me.

yea but i heard that most universities/colleges look at everything u do starting from the 9th grade so doesnt scholarships look from 9th grade?

no u should leave it blank if ur not sure or u will lose points cuz the higher points u have then better university/college u go to
