That's where I get stuck. Everytime I collapse down, the arm supporting the leg gives way. Or slips. So my question is, how do I make it so it doesn't give way?

Now my skin is all messed up. Because of all the brushing.
Sorry for the late answer bro, I just got an exam-week at my school so I couldn't answer. Anyway, the support arm's elbow should go against your hip, the part where you don't feel any pain while putting the elbow on the bone. Level yourself so that you have most of your weight in the center, not forward, not backwards, but the center. Technically your arm should not give away, unless you're overweight (like I used to be ) or I guess "too skinny" (no offense or anything). But what you could do is to use more "thumb part" of the hand palm. So if you just follow the thumb finger down, that hardest part of the hand palm (the bottom part) should take most of the weight. Just keep on practicing and don't give up. Another mistake is that people tend to hold their breath.... Never, ever, but then ever, hold your breath. Breath slowly and easy.

You can use your non-support hand to "shove" the balance forward/backward, try moving the hand away from the ground though. So that it is as if you're only stationed on your support-hand. It will prepare you more and train your arm. Let me know if this helped.

It is giving way. I have no idea why! Thanks for the lengthy post though, I appreciate it.

www.cwalk-movement.com , we're getting our mixtapes out, ads and all, the best cwalkers are from there and its a great community. KyrenC is one of the best cwalkers out there, and his brother made this community. I'm a staff member out there, doing cwalk myself, loving it. Getting the Mixtape done.

Ya'll find shitloads of tutorials there, you can register under "community" for forums and tips. But if you just want the tuts, go to videos, "Shuffl3s" got the best tutorials IMO.
