Default Diiimn's VJB Journal(Intermediate Strength)

Intermediate Strength

Phase I

Week 1
Day 1Complete
Day 2Complete
Day 3Complete

Changed program to Kelly Baggett consultation program, done it for almost a year. Changed program again, on 20th May 2009, to a revised version of the last consultation

Training background: Done VJB bodyweight till phase 3 then completed novice weights
One leg VJ: 19"
SVJ: 27"
Goal: I don't know what is realistic. 6"
Squat: 264lbs
Deadlift: 220lbs

Dropped the squat bar right after finishing the 2nd set

Week 1 Day 1/3

Squat increased to 308lbs and on the 2nd set I couldn't put the bar back on its place but the right side I managed to put and the left side went down to the squat rack. I asked a nearby gym trainee to help carry the left side which is with 3 plates back to its place.

This time I used my watch to keep track of the rest time between sets so I finished at least 20 minutes faster.

308 is pretty fucking strong, and u only gain 2 inches.. sorry to hear that damn, maybe u should learn how to go of 2 feet,

and when you squat are you bring your butt below your knees? like almost touching the ground or is that wrong?

1. Am a guy

2. I got 2" from 12 weeks

I don't know whether u should start over to week 1 but if u do it's probably ok.

How do u work on ur technique? Cause I just do plyometrics to work on my technique or more is needed?

No I didn't bring my butt below my knee cause I do 45 degree angle most of the time. Btw is it very significant if I do that butt below knee ?

How to learn to go off 2 feet?

I didn't squat parallel or below which probably the reason I've gained this close to no gain VJ. But since I can 1/4 squat 1.8 times BW I have 50/50 chance that I can full squat 1.5 times BW so I'll try to start squatting the weight that I can full squat.

The plyos're easy but tiring

Week 1 Day 2/3

Plyos took probably less than 30 minutes and made me more tired in the basketball session which I have straight after.

DOne

Week 1 Day 3/3

Palms' skin brushed off due to deadlift.

I'm thinking of getting Kelly Baggett's nutrition help from his consultation service package #1 to help me out. My bicep and tricep don't look like it's gonna be as big as Frank Yang's in 3 yrs.

ummm yeah, i mean you should atleast to a chair stances. i heard that going lower then your knee is good but some also told me you can hurt yourself that way and that you use more ass if you dont, and if you do you use more quad and no ass, i figure i need ass muscle that and my hams are my weak point, i used to only work calves back in the day.

yes from is everything, i remember i was runnning and doing a dead stop so it would fuck up the jump, then i learn how to jump a little better off the run, and dunked on a 9ft 10incher rim.. it can help you 3 to 4 inches your tech you use, i already went back to the dead stop cuz i been too bizzy and had a hurt knee lately,

so i dont know if i should carry on to week 4 or go back to week 3 cuz i missed like a week of weight and havent done pylos for 2 weeks... but i cant even squat my own weight but i can leg pres 3 of me, its weird

and if u are overweight maybe that help if u lose it lol, i have that problem
