Smile VJB Novice Weights+Beg Plyos

I am doing begginer plyos+novice weights from VJB. This is my first program ever and i have never weight lifted consistently or done any plyos. As of now i can touch rim(with jeans on) so i hope to be close to dunking at the end of this program. My schedule is this: Monday-Novice weights wourkout A, Tuesday-Plyos, Thursday-Plyos, Weight lifting workout B.

Stats:
Height-6ft
Reach-7'10"
Weight-145lbs
Age-15
SVJ-22"
RVJ-26"
Goal-38"

So i started today with VJB Novice weights week one workout A. It felt pretty good. I'm just trying to get my form down for the squats cause I think I'm using my back to much by hunching over. Tommorow I will start beg plyos.

A and B are two separate workouts to do on two separate days.

Well its really a tough call. I found one site that has a supplement that may help. I heard this Growth-Flex V Pro product can help. I spoke to someone who took it and they said it took a bit of time but it helped them to gain height over time effectively as well as increase their jumping ability. Former NBA baller Grant Long endorses it

Today I did my first plyos workout. I was sore from yesterday, especially my calves and glutes. I did the dynamic warmup that he says in the book. The workout felt good until I did the alternating lunge jumps. Those things are rediculous because if I understand right then your supposed to do 40 non stop. Overall a nice workout.

Yesterday(Thursday) I did beg. Plyos in the morning and novice weights W.O. B in the afternoon. Nice workout. I had a protein shake after my weights session. I will quickly test my vert monday before i go to workout.

VJB Novice Weights Week 2 Workout A

So I tested my Vertical before I went to workout and both standing and running jumps are the same after 3 full days of rest.

On to my workout. Everything was the same but i added 10 pounds to my squat. Good for me because my strength is horrible. Plyos tommorow.

Wow today I wasnt sore at all. Not sure if this is good or bad but it might be because I stretched after something I didnt do last week. Not to mention last week I was sore for 2 days after the workout. Today I started week 2 of beg plyos and blah blah blah nice workout. I find it very difficult to actually complete the alternating lung jump(40 straight).

You find lunge jumps hard probably because of weak hamstring/glutes. Sufficiently deep and heavy squatting will take care of that somewhat. Good job so far.
