find the exercises you need UPN for (theres only like 7), do them. stop once you stop getting 100% results (ie in max height jumps, once you don't jump to max height), count how many reps that was, then subtract one. that's your UPN for max height jumps.

On a side note I did todays workout, was a little more strict with my diet (had a smaller meal before, then a shake right after and another 30 min after), and I did the hydrotherepy thing in the shower. the workout was nice cuz it was easier than normal, since i had depth jumps.

Okay first off theres no weight on them. Look up the exercise. Next just do them until like I said above you stop doing them perfectly, then subtract one. Nothing different.

Aight finished my sixth workout, first week is all but done (just gotta rest a day). My arms are quite sore but I'm looking fowards to a day off.

Question: TVP=15 weeks straight no more than 2 days off in a row (pool weeks you work out 5 days a week, so thats 2 days off), which means a total of 5-6 days of a month for a 3 and a half month period. That seems like hella overtraining. Anyone know if I should take a break midway through to let my body catch up or it'll be okay recovering from all of it just using the day off every week and the 2-3 weeks between the 15 week and 6 week parts?

Comment: STOP PMING ME ABOUT TVP! 5 people have pm'd me asking for/asking about odd things in TVP. I will not send it to you as I don't know how to send an ebook, and on top of that all the people who did ask had less than 100 posts (I aint sending even if you have that much mind you--cuz I don't know how and don't care to try). Please start a topic if you have questions about TVP in the training section because I really won't respond to them in PM. I don't mind answering questions in this journal but the PM thing is a huge hassel for me (see above, I don't mind that whatsoever, its more the asking for stuff that bothers me). -rant off.

you'll be box squating 40 pounds as your main exercise. you won't be able to do it free weight as the bar weights more than the total weight you want. your 1rm for a NORMAL squat is 140. box i'd say is 100 or less. you do 45% of your 1rm for the first few weeks of TVP, which would be sub 45 pounds. thats absurd to weight train so intensely with such a pathetic weight. get up your strength then do something like tvp.
next, it calls for some things (super hops for example) that you'll just mess yourself up on if you try. I don't wish the evil of having you depth jump from your vert+9 inches (what you'll do later in the program) with a 1rm squat of LESS than your bodyweight. you'd be better off doing AA2 & AA3 at the same time (not rly, but that's just to prove how bad that would be for you).

You would see limited to no gains and hurt yourself. Once you can squat 1.5x your bodyweight and NO LESS then do TVP. It is too taxing on your body.
