Athletic Advantage
Probably the best program out there for the simple fact that it's customised to fit you!! 3 sets of 10 reps may work for someone but will not work for his best friend so these tests are awesome to maximizing ur vertical. I do not own the program just read reviews and researched it Anybody who has done the program or would like to share it and post results go right ahead.

Re: Athletic Advantage
I don't know what is in the program, but if it is based on sound principles it should work for any beginner/novice. That's right, follow it to the T and look to improve you weaknesses and you should add inches easily to your vertical jump and improve your speed. But you must train consistently - so I recommend you logging down every aspect of your training. Don't look to testimonials etc too much. That's marketing. Even if TFB use the program right now it doesn't mean that the program is necessairy suitable for you. Great to elite athletes train differently than beginners and the like. That said, programs typically have different levels of sub-programs so as to cater for all levels.
If you have a program, give it a go, train hard and let the gains come. If it doesn't work, review your training log and assess where you went wrong if at all or what modifications your need etc..

Re: Athletic Advantage
athletic advantage is split into many parts i noe there is a nutrition section and the actual program criteria is the only part i hav,tho i guess i could try n i get more
i havent actually read thro it well, just skimmed over it
ive heard its a good program and it can cater for many levels of athlete/training
the science of it doesnt go too in depth like vjb or tvp,but it summarizes it rather easier to follow
and many place it in the upper echolon of jumping programs,in par wif vjb.
all the reviews ive seen 4 it r great, they rank it very highly(im guessing, not sure,about~7.8-8/10)and recomend it
it also includes much more than needed upperbody training, however its alright for someone who is willing to do it.

Re: Athletic Advantage
I think people look too much into what program they want to do. In my opinion (which really doesn't mean much) as long as a program has you lifting weights (squats and deadlifting) along with plyos, you will increase your vertical. However, I know nothing about athletic advantage, but if it says lift and do plyos, then go for it.

Re: Athletic Advantage
I got about 5 inches from Athletic Advantage. A couple things I didn't like about it was all the partial ROM exercises. No full squats or deadlifts. The pylos get real long towards the last couple weeks. I seriously over trained using it cause I played ball like 3x a week and with all those pylos it was hard to give full power to all the exercises. The funny thing is I probably gained like 4 inches in the first month and then like 1 in the next 8 or 9. I didn't have access to a pool though, I bet that would of help. But its pretty good since it makes your own schedule and stuff. Overall not bad.
But I did get into a lot better shape.
