Damn. I rested a week after Phase 1 and I plan to rest a week after Phase 2. I thought a week of rest will be good as to reset your body and mind and at the same time, let you measure your gains...

PHASE 1 TEST

Not 100% accurate.

Running Vertical 27 inches.

Standing Vertical 23 inches.
(Just 1 more inch to touch rim on standing vertical baby)

Phase 2 Week 1

Novice Plyos
They took me a while longer because they were new. But overall I did good. They took me like 40 minutes.

Novice Weights
I was so happy that I was squatting more than last week that I dropped the bar. However I did everything more controlled.

SQ 145lbs 4x8
XSQ 85lbs 5x2
Leg Curl 110lbs
Machine Calf Raises 135lbs 4x20

It was a good workout

Oh no. I had to stop playing for the team because I got an ankle injury. After I healed I just decided to do VJB Novice Weights and Novice Plyos.

Phase 2 Week 1 Day 2

Novice Plyos
I did plyos at the gym. After I did them I tried to dunk and I got closer than ever! There was this dude who was trying to throw me an alley but i just couldnt get it down lol.

Novice Weights
OMG. This wasnt a very fun work out, but I still considered it *Tony The Tiger* Greeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaat! I was just seeing how much I could do of each excercise to get a good work out. I will definetly raise the weight next week.

Split Leg Squats 3x8 65 lbs
Romanian DL 4x8 95 lbs
Glute Ham Raise 3x15
(I put my legs under this steel thing and did glute ham raise that way)
1 Leg Calf Raise 3x20 40 lbs

I feel like my legs are getting stronger and I can jump higher consistetnly. O yea my standing vertical is about 24 inches. I can barely tip the rim if I stand under it and jump with no steps.

Phae 2 Week 2 Day 1

Novice Plyos
I was doing the plyos at the raquetball place when some fat dude walked and said "I rented this place to play raquetball". I was like pshhhhh. *put up my arm and slapped him with my pimp hand* Ok, maybe not the last part. Anyways I did the plyos and they felt really good.

Novice Weights
The weights felt really good i triedhard to do my best. I enjoy the feeling of lifting hard and being motivated.

Squats 4x8 155 lbs
Explosive Squats 2x5 95 lbs
Leg Curl 4x8 120 lbs
Calf Raises 4x20 155 lbs

After plyos I plaed basketball and was really close to dunking. just like a solid 2-4 inches. I might post a video for you guys at theend of the program when I can dunk. However I must warn you that its not gonna be that good because many of your are far better jumpers than me. Since next Tuesday is Christmas I will have to skip that workout because the gym will be closed. I will still do plyos at home though.
