Sunday: Bodyweight then Plyos
Wednesday: Bodyweight then Plyos

I did the plyos first today and i worked a pretty heavy sweat, the plyos were quite demanding on my legs and I could feel the effects after I'd finished.

Next I did the bodyweight which took more than an hour, some of the exercises were hard to get the drift of but I eventually figured them out. The exercises were very good and my legs were really sore after I'd done the 200 squats and the other exercises. The Peterson Step-Up's I found really demanding.

My standing vertical at the moment is 25 Inches and once I've completed the 12 weeks I'm hoping to gain about 12 inches from doing the exercises as best I can and not taking short-cuts.

Once I complete the Beginner's I'll move on to the Novice and once I've finished that I'll move on to the Intermediate one. I think I'm going to remain motivated because of the gains I'm hoping to acheive.

I suggest u take creatine monohydrate for faster gains

I did my workouts on Monday and Friday this time, I got a little sloppy with the dates. 1st week I did: Sunday, Wednesday, 2nd Week: Monday, Thursday. From now on I am sticking to Monday, Thursday because the school holidays are coming up soon so I won't have to worry about time. I'm able to sustain the workouts a lot better than my first week and I measured my standing vertical this morning and I've managed to gain 3 inches. Which means I have gained 1 inch a week. Hopefully this pattern continues so I can gain my goal of 12 inches which would be very beneficial for dunking .

Yeah, but in the first week before I started VJB, I measured my vertical in the morning. So yeah.

Do most people see gains from beginner plyos? Cause I'm going to start from that and go through all the works outs as soon as my season ends to get ready for college next year.

Hi, just updating my journal.

Phase II, Week I

I did my workouts on Monday and Thursday and found the plyos feeling really good and again a bit more demanding than the week before. The Bodyweight was very hard, the Burnout Complex really took the energry out of me but I am finding it very beneficial. However I have put out of place/strained a muscle in my hamstring but I'll continue with the workouts.

I went outside today and jumped up and I noticed I have gained roughly another inch. My plyometric ability has increased significantly, I am able to dunk on my hoop at home very easily off one leg and I am able to "float" through the air a lot better. I am finding the Beginner Plyos and Bodyweight very good. If I am gaining these inches of these exercises, when I move onto the Novice Plyometrics And Novice Weights I should see good gains.

Note:
I believe that i did one of the week 2 workouts in week 1 by accident. So when I do week 2 I really would of done week 2 with 3 workouts.
