Re: A.J.'s VJB begginer plyo and bodyweight journal
hey, so ive decided to start vjb phase 2 today. im excited i hope to touch the ring by the end of vjb. at the start of vjb i could touch the bottom of the backboard with the tips of my fingers, now i can get most of my hand on there sometimes thats a few inches i hope i am having a growth spurt too coz that would make it easier to dunk. iv grown 3cm's ( a little over an inch) in the last month

Wow, you grew an inch, plus your hand will grow longer abit, plus your increase in vertical! That's great man... Keep it up! So how far are you away from the rim now?

Re: A.J.'s VJB begginer plyo and bodyweight journal
probably still 6 or 7 inches. my hand hasnt really grown. i have absolutely massive hands already. i mean they are as big as my dads and uncles and stuff. n they are pretty tall lol. same with my feet. they are bigger than my dads and the same size as my uncles who are both 6'5 hope that means i will get to their size

Re: A.J.'s VJB begginer plyo and bodyweight journal
hey guys, i just did phase 2 week 1 plyos. they were really good, they worked each leg seperately a lot which is good coz i wanna be an elastic and strength jumper, in other words be able to jump off both 1 and 2 legs very well. im doing bodyweight a bit later.

Re: A.J.'s VJB begginer plyo and bodyweight journal
hey guys, so today i did phase 2 week 1 bodyweight. it was much easier than i thought it would be and i got it done much quicker than phase 1. the only part i found hard was the burnout complex at the end where u do 20 squats, 20 alternating lunges ( each leg ), 20 step up jumps and 20 squat jumps in a row. my legs are nice and sore now so i can feel it working. oh and also i've decided to do bodyweight with the next level up of plyometrics once i have finished these 12 weeks. by the end of both programs i wanna be able to dunk or at least touch the ring. im probably bout 7 inches off the ring now. u think its possible?

I'm not too sure because I haven't even measured my gains. Let's just hope you get your 7 inches How much have you gained from Phase 1?
