i realised i did many wrong things in my workouts.

This week i got access to a gym & did 2 workouts already.I don't follow vjb anymore and I changed the way of doing squats. Now i do heavier and less reps(about 2-4).

I do only strength workouts,no plyometrics ones because i don't have time but for some reasons i believe it's better this way.

***)I'm interested in improoving in vertical jump for about 2 months.I begun with AA3 for 4 weeks with no desired improovement. After that i tried my own program based on weigth lifting and some plyos,i overtrained a bit with mine(with AA3 too) and i finally decided to follow a professional program(VJB-now)
Try jump science. Its an 8 week program and u will gain great inches. I recommend it highly

I've increased the intensity in my strength program and reduced the number of repetitions /set because this is the best way of training 4 strength .Last workout i was doing sets of 1 rep with 88 kg.
It's damn cold in Romania and its hard for me to train 4 plyometric ability, which is my weakest ring from the chain but i've noticed improoved elasticity since i absorb the impact on the balls of my feet.
I was telling that i did many errors in my workouts....taking off & landing with heel on the ground was a big one.
Now even when i walk, and i walk fast cuz am usually late for classes i feel the ground too rough if i touch it with the heel.
I decided to train 4 strength 1st and when i will squat 2*bodyweight then i'll take care of plyometrics.
I am supplementing with proteins(i'm not home and don't have all week meals rich in proteins so i supplement for not loosing gains),whey proteins but i'll buy low absorbtion proteins too(those from milk and egg are good) to optimize recovery and gaining during sleeping.
I've made a full body workout program...hope i can stick to it.

buddy, you do realize the VJB tells you to add in plyos only during the LAST TWO PHASES right? that probably lead you to overtraining. i know many people here add in plyos throughout all phases. but it's still a good idea to stick to what the book says. nice gain on the inches and good luck on your training dude.

Are you talking about the intense plyometric shit? cause workout involving plyometrics are in the beginner plyo's in the 1'st phase too.
I overtrained my nervous system cause i was doing workouts with bad form of landing and jumping.
2 days ago i ran to university cuz i was late.I ran slowly.Yesterday i felt springy.
Yesterday night i did some drop and depth jumps from my bed and today i feel even more springy.

My gains sucked but 10x for the good luck.

Strength training went nice today
squats:
2 sets with about 5-6 reps with 90 kg
tested my max and squated 110 didn't make it with 120.

I gained 2 kg in bodyweight in 1 month.
