Default VJB Novice Weights

Hey Peoplez I started the novice weights program 3 days ago on the first of August and i'm going to update my stats after every phase here are my starting stats.

Vertical Jump Bible Novice Weights Progress

Phase I/Starting Stats
Max(hack)Squat:139 pounds
Max Deadlift:140 pounds
Standing Vertical Jump: 22inches
Running Vertical Jump:30inches
Training Intensity: 80% 1 rep max

Yeah i have a few questions btw, Do i increase my weight every week or not? Also, i'm not sure i dont really understand but do i skip one workout every phase for testing?

NO WAY!!! I just tested my max(hack)squat today i'm on week 2 phase one and its 176lbs thats CRAZY!!! i've increased my squat by heaps and i've been testing properly with mah friend who's a Personal Trainer he couldn't believe it either!!! I'll update my deadlift gains when i do my deadlifts on saturday. I'll be posting my vertical jump increase at the end of Phase 1.

I tested my max deadlift and its 145 pounds which is pretty good. I've increased it by 5 pounds which i'm happy about. I'm pretty sure i didn't measure my squat properly so i'll tell you tomorrow after my workout.

Well My max squat is 172pounds so i know i measured it wrong. But still i'm happy with it at the moment. I hope to gain about 10-15lbs in the next phase. I'll measure my vertical jump in at the end of phase 1 which on sunday.

Hey everybody, i measured my standing vertical jump today and its 24" i've gained 2 inches in my jump in 3 weeks. I'm pretty happy about that im not sure what my running vert is becuase it quite hard to measure. Also i'm going to start the Get max vertical poly's program next week. What rep intensity should i use for the next phase? anybody sure? Well i'll update everyweek.

Hey Guys,

My deadlift is now 155lbs which is good in gains in starting phase 2 tomorrow here are my current stats.

SquatMax : 172pounds
Deadlift Max:155pounds
Bodyweight: 65kg
Standing Jump:24" (gained 2 inches on phase1)

I'll keep posting every week!!

Btw i have one question. When i do Spilt Squats do i use half the weight of my usual squats or do i use the same. Becuase it seems that only using one leg would be harder.

That's kinda weird, your max squat is a lot heavier than your deadlift. Anyways, for the split squat just use whatever weight you can do them with.

Lol yeah, its kinda weird that my squat is better its just i'm still learning how to do them correctly i could probably do more l8ter on. Oh yeah btw i am able to Max Squat 183pounds now which i'm very happy about an increase on about 11lbs. and i've stopped doing hacksquats like 3 weeks ago cuz i dont really care anymore. I can hack squat the same amount as a full back squat anyway so yeahs.

So do you guys reckon by the end of the program i'll be able to maybe squat 1.5-2times my bodyweight? Becuase i think i'm gaining quite well actually which i'm pretty happy about. Also tomorrow i'm starting the GMV program to see how it goes. How much do you think i'll get from the GMV program. Alright cya guys.
