Congratulations on your dunk. I had a questions about how to work in the plyos with the weights. Is it better to go through the first two phases of weights before starting plyos? Didn't Kelly mention earlier in VJB that plyometric training combined with strength training gives better results? Just wondering.

Yo Gavan! That's awesome dude!! Hopefully it's the first of many dunks to come. Was that from two feet? I've found this VJB has helped my two-legged jumping, is that the same for you?

Great post champ, the stats and regular updates make it a great thread to read.

Hey people sorry about not being on for awhile, my computer has been stuffing up so it hasn't been working but i'll update. My max squat is 125kg. Which is about 275lbs. My vert standing vert is now 30" i've increased it by another 2 inches! The thing is is that also i' haven't been able to do workout B on each week effectively becuase i only go to the gym once a week and the weight i have at home is not nearly enough for me now to do deadlifts but i'm stil gaining so the program works. Also, i've had to take a 2 week break becuase i went on holidays but it seems i've still got the same vert which i had 2 weeks back 30". I had my first workout today in two weeks and it felt good, so i'm only on week 9 becuase of the delay but nevertheless everything is going good.

Oh yeah Mig this program has really helped my two footed jump alot. I think ive only gained about 4 inches on my 1 legged jump but that was enough for me to dunk, but it has increased two footed jump by 8" and i've still got 3weeks to go. I also even didn't do the polymetrics in phase 3 and 4 so i dont know how much more i could jump if i did.

Another little problem for me is also becuase of the weight of the squats, my back is starting to hurt becuase i dont have enough padding to support my back so i'm not sure what to do about it i might buy a squat brace.

I also have another question if you guys know. Does polymetrics better increase you 1 legged jump and after i finish this program should i just maintain the amount i can squat and just try and get the most out of it by doing polymetrics? What do you guys think?

I'd just like to say thanks to everybody for all the support you have been giving me, its really encouraging and it will make me work even harder to get better results so i can show you guys when i actually do a good dunk i'll post it on youtube or something to show you guys . Lastly again, sorry for not replying and updating earlier its just as a i said, my computer has been stuffing up so i had to get it fixed but now that its okay i'll try to update as much as i would before. Well Guys train hard and you'll get the results, till then Cya.

Awesome results. Congrats again on your dunk. Start plyometrics whenever you can while maintaining your strength. You'll be able to dunk even easier if you do some plyos.
