The denver nuggets just traded marcus camby for 2nd round picks in 2010...WTF?? There defense sucked when they had Marcus Camby and now it will even more because he is an ex-defensive player of the year winner. I wont be surprised to see the Nuggets allow 120 pts a game for the season next year...

Maybe.
But hasnt anyone thought of the fact that it can be freeing up some salary to buy a younger player?
Camby is getting old as and isnt doing much on the nuggets offensive end anyways.

So what do they about defense, because there's no one in the paint to contest any shots now.

I dont think nuggets needs to worry about their offense...they were one of the highest scoring team in the league even if Camby scored only 9pts a game

It's not just a second round pick, it's a PROTECTED second round pick, which means if the Clips have a worse record than Nuts in 2010 the Clips would keep that draft pick, which means they possibly don't have to give up anything for Camby.
It sucks, the Nets are willing to trade Marcus Williams, Josh Boone, Nenad Krstic and Keith Van Horn for him and how can they reject this deal.
Last thought, it would be really hard for Denver to make the playoff next season

New transaction in NBA: the hornets will get the free agent James Posey. That will be a good help for the Hornets. Celtics should have resigned him because he was a key role player during the playoffs.

Brent Barry will go to the rockets and he will be the 3rd member of his family to play for Houston

denver is clearing cap space, and camby both helped and hurt denver. If they trade AI or wait to 2009 they'll have A LOT of space to get a star player

Lol true. I seriously think Iverson should leave Denver as soons as possible and come back to the Sixers. They will be automatic contenders
