I think that everyone has offered good tips throughout this thread and if you consciously practice a quarter of the ideas/drills offered, you will be on your way. If someone hasn't already mentioned it then I think it will go a long way by playing one day a week with your off hand only. It may seem weird or kooky, but if you do this you can train your off hand to be equal to your on hand that way you can drive/pass/shoot with both. Being able to use both will allow you to keep your defender off-balanced thus making you harder to gaurd.

Good Luck!

For starters, every time you're doing sprints or running laps, dribble while you're doing it. Any where you have to walk bring a ball so you can dribble, and obviously try as hard as you can not to look at the ball.

Strengthen your hips and abs.......as a pg, 70%+ of the time you're going to be leaning foward so you need to make sure your center of gravity is stable.

Let your strengths determine what you work on the most. Figure out if you're more of a natural scorer or passer. My advice would be to use your strong suit in games and in practice, work on your weakness until you're comfortable doing both. The best pgs are ones that are great passers but can't be played loose because of their shooting ability.
