Default jump stop

ok , so i was trying to dunk the other day, and college player told me you shouldnt jump stop or bunny hop if your gonna dunk.


he said yous should move into it, like a drop step kinda.. so which way is better?

It depends if your jumping 1 or 2 footed.

The bunny hop kills momentum, and the speed needed to transition to vertical movement, the idea is to transition from your comfortable approach to a jumping position as quickly as possible. Check my vids on my site, and watch my last few steps, and jump stop.... should see what i mean

i like jumping off too.... and hat is your site? and anytips on how to make "perfect practice" its a habit for me to run and jump stop and i herd u much rather power step into a 2 leg jump

the dunks at the end of the session, shes a good fast take off on my two hand windmill. notice foot placement at take off

than vertfreak..

but um, he likes to jump off one foot, i like to jump of two, and it really hard to see the form when people are going so fast , you know? its sounds liek he drags his foot too

ok, watch the other videos... the high jump videos of myself... watch the last 3 steps, "penultimate" and notice the quickness of my final two strides prior to take off... Notice the speed, body stays tall at take off, no lean forward or backwards throughout entire jump.... The core body is key in 1 footed jumping
