Pylos + Own Weight Training
hey guys.
couple questions
im going to start intermediate pylos in the verticle bible, and im also going to be doing my own lower body weight training that ive been doing. I had read here a while back that if you are going to do pylos and weight training in the same day then one should go before the other? i cant remember which one it said though and i couldnt find it in the previous threads. So if somebody could help me out, thanks.
another question, in the intermediate pylos, it calls for Broad Jumps.
3X1 (1 rep, 3 sets)
can somebody tell me what they are and how to perform them?

for how to perform the, watch thisa vidseo of dirk, and somwhre in tha middle he's doing a jump exercise, thats a broad jump.
hope it works for ya, im on 1st week of 2nd phase intermediate plyos and i fell mo explosive.

Re: Pylos + Own Weight Training
I wouldn't recommend doing Pylos and weight training on the same day. You shouldn't really be doing them together at all, they're both trying to get your muscles to do differen't things.

If you do them on the same day, you have a full day for CNS recovery. If you do them on separate days, that's just less time your CNS has to recover.
For the most part, plyos should be done first because they really shouldn't take away from your weight training (there are exceptions. but if you are doing int. plyos you're good). If anything, you might be able to lift more because it fires up the CNS.
To be honest though, it really doesn't matter as long as you don't go weights then plyos on the same day. If you want to do them on seperate days it won't make that much of a difference.
