Default Jump shooting help?

iv been playing for about a year now and have been working very hard on my game, the most fustratin thing is when i have a bad shooting day, i was just wondering if difference in ball's would make any difference, going from expensive indoor balls in sportshalls to cheap outdoor balls in backstreets, also sometimes myfingertips will hit my head as i am shooting which im sure shouldnt happen watching nba players, i dont think its to do with bad technique as my form is quite textbook. it is also fustrating when shooting can feel like second nature a few days in a row, then you dont shoot for a day and you have to think more about your shot

any helpp?? please

Get the fundamentals of shooting down then apply it. Even Gilbert Arenas starts off slow with shooting, getting his form together.

GOD BLESS

also can you give me advice on developing a 3 point shot, ino how important it is to be closer to the basket when you shoot but i would really like to improve my range and find it difficult with keeping my form from 14, 15 or 16 feet, without starting to "throw" it.

You have to use your legs and release your shot as your feet come of the ground.
