Default will gains last?

ok heres my situation i started lifting agen around 6th june and ive made some good gains in strenght, mass n vertical, im going on holiday from the 1st august to the 5th september but my question is will i loose any gains ive made so far in strenght n vertical as i wont really b lifting in that time but may play lil b-ball?

Height: 5ft11
Runnin vert: 25 (never trained before)
Standing Reach: 7ft 9.5 (without shoes)
Wing Span: 6ft 3
After 4 weeks of VJB Intermediate Strength Training + plyometrics
Running vert went to 29-30
Starting Novice Weights + Upperbody

im pretty sure that if u want to maintain ur gains, u would have to play ball (almost everyday), or lift weights. since u cant lift, i guess u have to be playing ball.

You have to exercise your muscles, or else they will get slack and become not as strong as before.

you'll most likely loose more gains in your strength then vert. If u play b-ball mon-wed-fri or 3 times a week then i dont think u will loose vert.

if you play basketball you wont lose much vert or stregnth. If you dont do anything most people lose their stregnth at about 1/3 the rate it took them to get it. I doubt you will notice any loss of stregnth especialy because you are very new to lifting.

If you play basketball regularly(at least twice a week) or some other form of similar plyo activity, then your vert gains should maintain. Keep up your diet, don't go slack on it cause it's holidays, as it can mess with your progress.
