Default whats ur take on working out?

just wonderin, what do u think about weight training? i kno its pretty important for post players, but im a pg and ive been working out for a while but ive heard rumours that it screws up ur shot. right now, im doing a light workout program, so that im not too sore to shoot hoops or anything.

do u think getting stronger, being a guard who is already pretty strong , will help my game, e.g. loose balls, defense,? or should i be working out purely for the looks (and the football season )

shoot at least 100 jump shots after every work out and before then make sure to play alot on days that you dont workout ALOT and your shot wont be affected... but work your core and back & chest for best results on defense and rebounding and shit..,,, work the shit out of your legs too, of course

Both. It will help you look better and push people better. So do it, if you have the determination. I don't, I always go on and off.

i usually dont weight train (but i have nothing against like wrist weights or whatever to help handles) I train bodyweight (plyos, etc.) If I can control my own body really well, it'll be easier to control yours.

yea weights do help sum i gotta start lifting again
but yea afta u lift you should go shoot around for a lil while
i think strenght help mostly on defense:steals, blocks, boxin out, gettin boards and on offense for throwin dimes and backin down and goin to the lane hard so that u can take the contact
