no offense but where do you get some of your facts? It can help your speed and vertical, but nowhere near 3-6" or .2-.4 seconds.

Where do you get your facts?. These are not facts they are just results from many of the hundreds of athletes i have trained and i averaged them. Do not question my articles unless you know what you are saying is correct. Im looking to improve the articles.

well you are mis advertising your information. Because no one can shave .4 seconds off there 40 by just doing these exercises. And if so, how would you know that it came solely from doing those exercises? Something sounds a little fishy.

BTW, tell me more about your training? I'm interested

These results did not happen in a day they happened over the span of months of hardtraining. Now the increase of vertical jump and speed is not the reason i made this article it was to help reduce injuries and provide a good warmup or cooldown. Now what many dont realize is that they skip some very important parts of their workouts by skipping ankle training.

Now i cal also let you here from other strength coaches opinions.

John Izzo - Specializes in ankle training for athletic enhancement.

As you have seen luke lowry focuses some of his program on ankle training.

Well theres some answers for you. "basketballvertical" i know your probably a novice athlete and still in the learning process feel free to ask us members any training questions you have.

i have done them in conjunction with plyo and strength training programs and they greatly assist final gains. I can attest to those numbers ant claimed.

BTW sox, no disrespect, but will this new forum actually stay active and running, coz you have launched heaps of other athletic/strength/sports training forums or what not, and they where up for a few months at the most and then turned relatively innactive afterwards cause their admins neglected their jobs.

heres what i mean
Sports_Center

all i'm saying is that i want assurance in this forum before joining up to another one of these forums before they end up dead, and it's a waste of time me contributing to them.

Well you mentioned in the article and on this thread that the average gains are 3-6 inches on your vert and .2-.4 seconds off your 40 time. And this is false information.

Now maybe you meant that these exercises mixed with a strength/plyo program will give you those results. If so, you should state that so people don't get the wrong idea about these exercises like I did.

If in fact you did mean what you stated, well I cant take you very seriously then. In no way shape or form is doing these exercises 3-4 times a week for a few months like you said going to raise your vert 3-6 inches and decrease your 40 .2-.4

if you had any real foreground knowledge in vertical jump training, why would you come to that conclusion?

Anybody with some decent knowledge on vertical jump training knows that it is practically impossible for you to gain those types of numbers by use of those exercises alone in the mentioned amount of time. The people who would be reading the article should know this before they read it, if not they shouldn't be reading the article in the first place.

These exercises are meant to be used with a program and does not need to be done by themselves. I did not say these results were a guarantee as everyone is different im just saying from my experience using them they have greatly helped my athletes in their sport. Thanks ryano also for the replies, we also need to talk on msn.

Ryano Sportcenter was dead because i no longer own it i sold it months ago and i even announced on that site why it was going to be dead.

Elite Athletic training gets about 12 new posts a day which is about equal to streetballtalk. We get an avarage of 1 to 2 new members a day. Also there is no way im letting this new site go dead as im actually paying to keep the forum up unlike my free host.

hey thats cool, you shouldn't get rattled up by this guy, he's most probably still hatin on sbt and us because of the whole incident when we caught him stealing our links from sbe and putting em up on his site.

I'm setting up HST currently, but i'm having trouble with the whole 15RM testing. I would appreciate you're assistance with it or any advice you have to offer.

And i don't think i have time for another forum atm, though i think i's a good idea and i'd love to contribute, but sbt is where i will stay for now.
