Default About JumpATTACK

I just got Tim Grover's Jump Attack book (trainer of MJ), and looked at the program. Surprisingly it has none of that beginner/intermediate/expert kind of level workout, it's simply ONE workout. And it's supposed to only be done twice a week.

I guess it looks decent, and since MJ's trainer made the workout I don't want to doubt it, but isn't that kind of weird? I mean, everyone's talking about customization and stuff these days, and there's nothing like that in the book. Should I go with JumpATTACK or do Athletic Advantage? Thanks.

Just go with Athletic Advantage. As u just posted its a one size fits all program. With Athletic Advantage you have multiple choices to choose form. Since u bought it u can return it if u dnt get results. my friend told me that he regretted starting out with the strength training workout since his vert was 24 inches and he had never lifted weights before. I suggest u do the body weight program if your vertical is less then 30 inches. If its more then do the strength training program.

If you are a begginer to weight training do that program for a month and then take a week or 2 off and strat athletic advantage. I found athletic advantage too advanced to start if you are a begginer.

Yes i have both programs and i did jump attack 2 years ago. I followed it to a T for 12 weeks and gained strength and size. Vert however since i was a beginner i measured 5''. This is a good gain but it could have been much better if it would have been customized to me and maximize my weaknesses. I would say only use the jump attack exercises they are good but don't follow the rep sheme. I guess you could even get your customized program from Athletic Advantage and do jump attack but i would probably just do Athletic Advantage
