I'm not putting people down. If you say you have heart and dedication, put your money where your mouth is and go out an train / practice. So much talk these days. You want to play in the NBA at the highest level in a bball career? You better have dedication like no one else. So again, for those who think they have dedication. How many shots do you practice everyday?

im just the same folks..id love to go pro and im training as much as my uni and life allows me to..but lifes life and who knows what will happen

I'd love to go pro.
I play in the top English League now. It's similiar to college level in the USA and i'm a really young player in that league. I don't make a living out of my pay from it though. I get more coaching. I'd like to make the next step to the top British League, BBL, that has better pay and better press coverage compared to EBL.

I think i'm more likely to make it a as coach more than anything though. Not and NBA coach but i coach and U16s team and im only 17 myself. Ive taken them from newly formed this year to playoff finals so i rate myself quite highly lol.

Agree with abdcc. But if I have to rephrase that sentence, I would add "almost" into it. I know right away that there's simply no way I can be a pro in the future when I screwed both ankles and both knees. So instead of "wasting" too much time pursuing an unrealistic dream, I'm getting ready for the business world. Hey, maybe one day I would be a gm or even owner of an NBA team, who knows. So I'm basically playing for fun and for my pride.

Lol you guyz wish you could.... but we all know it wont happen. all the people that told me to never underestimate someone should know that im not underestimating them. Just by looking at your height, size, or vertical jump, i can know if a person will make it to the NBA or not. You guyz wish you could play pro but i bet none of you is even the best in his league or even his team, let alone the city. And there is way more competition in the USA. Oh and for Lakersfan7, im from Canada, ontario.
