Just an update...went to test my vert yesterday after a hiatus and buying some jumper's knee bands...my vert hasn't decreased at all...and on an even better note...somehow my load phase has gotten quicker somehow...I haven't worked on my technique in weeks, but somehow I jumped quicker with less load time...and no pain in my knees...extremely happy...can't wait to start playing again in a couple of weeks

Your vert increased because you actually rested.

It's very unfortunate for me, the pain expands from just the patellar to the whole anterior knee cap. It's getting worse, Ima go back to see my doc this weekend.

I didn't gain a thing though...I was just happy to keep the vert that I worked for...you should go back to the doctor...a specialist though...you should get a referral from your regular doctor when you go back to go to a specialist
