If you want a good resource for info regarding what you eat...

Just select a small serving on the nuts, like 28 grams.

Yeah, I use it a lot. Search Quinoa. I keep tellin people about it. It is one of the most complete foods in the world. It is a grain, high dietary fiber, high protein AND amino acids, very good for you. I usually steam brown rice with chicken broth, then steam the quinoa with chicken broth. After they're steamed, I mix them together and enjoy. Or even fry up some chicken or ham. Cook some egg separate. Then throw the rice and quinoa in the pan with the meat. Add some peas and shredded carrots, some soy sauce, then the egg. Voila, fryed rice that is good for you! I also use organic eggs, or free range eggs... they are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, good for your heart, and are naturally anti-inflamitory. Like fish, high in Omega-3's.

It is kinda bitter, and the texture is just different. I just haven't found a good recipe for it by itself yet. It is about 4x the price of brown rice, but still not expensive. Here in California it costs about $2.14 a pound... I know a lot of you go by different currency and measures so that may not make sense. But it isn't real expensive. It's is a little tough to find though. I kind find it at a pretty popular grocery store out here, or a health food store. I just mix it to make it easier to eat, and less costly, and it goes real well with brown rice.
