the gains are temporarily, you will have to do them every workout to maintain the gain.
this stretch is used to wake up the hip flexors and help with warmup. there is also a stretch your suppose to do after this one to deactivate the hip flexors.
Do not do this before a game because it can decrease your jumping endurance.
you will not keep gaining inches with it.
