I really think it depends on you... If you have previous experiance using weights, then do the weight programs..I am doing the bodyweight because I want to work on basic strength.although I am going to start going ot a gym next week. to try and do the weights..IMO the weights will help a little better, but the bodyweight program he has isnt no joke.

Because you can control the weight. Bodyweight is really just for beginners, because after awhile it gets too easy and you won't see any gains off it. All you would get is endurance gains.

That's why I hold a 25 pounds dumbell while doing and the gradually increase the weight each phase. That's all because I got no access to gym.

Well yea, but you got to be careful, like don't hold dumbells in some bodyweight exercises if you are not able to hold them.

weigth training is for more experienced people. I suggest try doing the body weight if your are un-experienced to vertical jump programs or if u just want to do body weight
