what is tvp and some help
i heard of this tvp program, what is it and where can i get it? is better than vjb.
right now, on can get an inch below the rim off two legs and one leg.... i am 6 feet and 140 lbs... i squat about 150 12 times, what program is the best for me? like what should i do in vjb, beginnners or intermediate weights and plyos? i am trying to be able to dunk by this summer for varsity basketball and the coaches love players that can jump and thats really been drawing me back....
and if someone can direct me to some shooting and dribbling drills that will be really nice
also i need some upperbody workouts right now i can only bench 125 and power clean 120, i would do defrancos westside program but our high school weight room doesnt have alot of the equipment it uses.... like it has tricep machines and deltoid machines and i could do bench, squats, toe raise machine and powercleans....

TVP = The Vertical Project, created by Luke Lowrey
http://www.theverticalproject.com/
VJB = The Vertical Jump Bible by Kelly Baggett
http://www.higher-faster-sports.com/...?hop=vertindex
If you want to know if it is really better go through the threads, we have discussed the programs over and over. One cannot conclusively judge which is the best program since people get different results from each one.
If you have VJB, I suggest you finish it first. If you are able to get a 100 posts, one of the guys here can probably send you the program. Good luck on your training.

Re: what is tvp and some help
there hav been many threads like this b4,if u search this forum u can find em easy,n all ya questions will b answered just reading posts
i personally think vjb is better than tvp,but if you r ready 4 tvp n u do it properly with all the extra stuff(like following the healthy lifestyle guidelines) u can probably get better results than vjb,but its only about an extra few inches.for the majorit of vert trainers its vjb.
i suggest u do vjb a plyo program n novice strength training.start off by giving begginer plyos n novice weights a go,n assess from there,if u can advadndced onto a higher program then do so,but giv it time
go to www.bodybuilding.com they hav some nice programs 2 suite many needs, for your upper body.
westside doesnt require much machines, just really the basic stuff like dumbells and a barbell u can prob do it at ya school weights room:
http://www.defrancostraining.com/art...s_westside.htm
i can get u the white hot handles programs from GMV its pretty gud maintainance program 2 keep ya dribbling in check
i hav a made a thread 4 bball fundamentals n stuff go check that it will help u: Bball Dribbling/handles Programs/drills
