For basketball, of course it would be bad, jumping around with X amount of extra weight on your body. Basketball already puts a lot of stress on ligaments and tissues the extra wieght would be awful
like bballplayer3 said, not a good idea. you can wear it during your workouts and stuff. i guess you can try to wear it during playing basketball if you think you can endure the extra weight on your knees. but if you feel any pain, stop. Good luck
would it be bad to get a weight belt and wear it when im playin basketball? woudl it help at all since i am jumping around for layups and rebounds?
I would definetly not wear it at all. It would cause so many micro tears i cant even explain. Also it will cause muscle imbalances and you most likely will be getting worse at basketball while injuring yourself
