Just goes to show that if you keep at it you can gain alot!. Like kelly B says alot of ppl overestimate the short run and underestimate the long run.

you gained 20" in 9 months? nice!
what was your starting vert? whats your current vert now? (both running and standing?)

Re: Training and gain?!
its bout 11-12 months for that improvement i think, running verts used to be between 15-18 syanding about 14, my vert isnt very accurate in season or whilst on a program. so youll have to wait til i finish my program, the highest i have jumped is about 40 inches. which was getting both wrists over a rim on a 10'0 ring and also getting my whole wrist+2-3 inches above another rim, which was like 9'10-9'11.
my 2 legged running and left leg are around mid 30 i think. standing probably 30 on most occasions, best was 32.

Re: Training and gain?!
I only gained about 3.5-4 inches from beginner plyos and bodyweights. That's because my sprained ankles (both ankles) hindered my gains.

May I know what is your original vertical. I'm doing the same program as you now, so I want to know roughly how much I can achieve.
