It's not that air alert is a bad program, it's that the reps are extremly high. If you lowered the reps down it could be use as a pretty good plyometric program for beginners. And if you have the VJB you really should do it over air alert. Theres 11 programs, they even have a complete bodyweight one. And theres a complete section on how to find what program is for you.

yeah dont do air alert 3. Ive done 14 weeks and didnt do the last week because i felt a pain in my knee. And now everytime i do an exercice, i can feel the pain. And i only gained 4 inches. So i would suggest you to do something else. Right now im resting my leg and i will do the vertical jump bible after. hopefully my knee pain will stop

Well, i read up on 'the vertical jump bible' and its incredibly confusing. I rushed past the first 50 pages and then there's like 20 different programs for i dont know who. can someone explain this to me? why cant there be like one easy program like in AA3
It is because the guy wants you to understand all the mechanics behind vertical leap and then find the exercises that work for you.

Phase II is for after your done Phase I. Air Alert is fine gained about 3 inch in standing jump and i'm at week 7. Just make sure you follow the instructions and don't forget to work your hamstrings with squats and lifts. If you have never done any plyometric work start with air alert III then moved to the more advanced stuff like VJB.
