Default vert training in-season

I wanna hear the opinions of y'all of doing a vert programm IN-SEASON. Like plyos+strength training. Would it decrease you're vert?

it depends. I strongly suggest you dont do plyos in season, but it is possible to do strength training. I dont do strength trainging for legs because we already run alot and im always sore, but if your team doesnt do run much go ahead and do some strength training 2X per week. It is very hard to gain on your vert during the season. You need to have genitically fast recovering muscles that you cant control, so it all depends on the person.

This is my 4th basketball season, i've never bean injured and i have 6 practices in the week. So i hope i do have one of those, but i want to do plyos+strentgh training. It probally is going to exhaust me, but who cares? If i get better at my vert. I just wanted to know if it won't decrease my vert

It will decrease your vert and your overall performance because you would be overtraining.

plyos really need u to be 100% fresh and so I would not recommend them during the season. Only weights.
