Does anyone have a right efficient way to jump, i know some people approach the basket from the side and take a roundabout to it.
You are not supposed to think about the process of jumping. Take it like a reflex action and focus on the outcome which is touching the hoop.

ay static stretching ur hip flexors before u do the jump really helps. even though stretching aint recommended, this one is the exception. if u dont kno wat it is, just go to youtube and it will show u an example of how to do it. its better to run from the side so u have a strong side to jump off of, go down fast as u can, and up as fast as you can, the faster you do this, the higher u jump

it all depends on your purpose for your jump. Are you going just for your reach or are you taking the ball up with you?

Well if you think you are over training thats because you probably are...dont over due it...your vert increase depends on how well you take care of your muscles...ie rest, nutrition, vitamins, etc...you get the point...and well if you are just going for reach speed and explosiveness are key...use your upper body in your jump bigger armswing more power
