Smile Vertical Limit: In-Season & Off-Season Training

Vertical Limit is a training regiment that a fellow teammate of mine has created. This is something that nobody knew about until now. He has insane hops and now we all know why. He and I both are about the same height and weight so I will be using his program for In-Season training. If anybody wants to check out his program, just PM me.

Other then his vertical (that could be just natural) what qualifies your friend to write this program? I am not saying that you have to be a personal trainer or strength coach or anything I am just wondering. Anyway I would like to look at it.

I guess he just wanted to help people get to a good vertical to improve their game the ways he did.

It's not done yet. He says there are a few things wrong with the sets and reps of some exercises, and is adding a page on isometrics, the importance of stretching and and some tips on jumping and pre-game warm ups.

What I like about it is that it is not just vertical jump, but very good conditioning and cardio workout. If you have never run stairs, it is a very good exercise.

ok here is your rating from a personal trainer.

i am not against it but i judge programs very harshly , i will give it a 4.5 out of 10.

i read your introduction about how this is for everyone but its not.

1)this program may lead to muscular inbalances.
2) it does not do a good job with power output.
3)it will plateau very quiclkly
4) and should either have a complete bodyweight or strength training program.

im glad you are testing and hopefully sometime soon it will improve, when it does come and get it judged.
